This policy explains what information Design Era (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects when you use our mobile app and website, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Design Era you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Account details: your email address and password, or the basic profile details (such as name and email) shared by Google or Apple when you sign in with them.
• Content you create: designs, text, photos, logos and other files you add or upload in the app.
• Device and usage data: device model, operating system, app version, language, crash reports and how you use features.
• Support messages: anything you send us when you contact us.

How we use your information

• To create and secure your account and let you sign in.
• To store your designs and let you edit and download them.
• To fix bugs, keep the app secure and improve features.
• To answer your questions and send important service messages.
• To meet legal obligations.

Photos and files

The app only accesses photos or files you choose to add to a design. We don’t read your gallery in the background.

Sharing your information

We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the app (such as cloud hosting, analytics and crash reporting, and Google and Apple for sign-in), when the law requires it, or if you ask us to. Providers: [list your providers].

Storage and retention

We keep your information while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data and designs within a reasonable period, unless the law requires us to keep some of it.

Your choices and rights

You can access, correct or delete your information, or delete your account, from the app or by emailing info@designera.shop. Depending on where you live, you may have extra rights under local data protection law, including in India.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No system is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.

Children

Design Era isn’t meant for children under [13 / 18]. If you think a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We’ll change the date above and, for major changes, tell you in the app.

Terms and Conditions

These terms are an agreement between you and DesignEra (“Design Era”, “we”) about your use of the Design Era app and website. If you don’t agree, please don’t use them.

1. Your account

You must give accurate details and keep your login secure. You’re responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, or have a parent or guardian’s permission.

2. Your content

You own the designs, text and images you create or upload. You give us a limited licence to store, process and display them only so we can run the app for you. You promise you have the right to use everything you add, and that it doesn’t break anyone’s rights or the law.

3. Our templates and assets

Design Era’s templates, stickers, fonts, backgrounds and software are owned by us or our licensors. You may use them in your banners for personal or business social media posts. You may not resell or redistribute the templates and assets on their own, or copy the app.

4. Acceptable use

• Don’t create or share content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or that infringes others’ rights.
• Don’t impersonate others or mislead people.
• Don’t try to hack, reverse engineer or disrupt the app.
• Don’t use the app to send spam.

5. Paid features

If we offer paid plans, prices and billing terms will be shown before you buy. Purchases through Google Play or the App Store follow their payment and refund rules.

6. Third-party services

The app may link to or work with third-party services such as Google, Apple and social media platforms. Their own terms apply, and we’re not responsible for them.

7. Ending your use

You can stop using Design Era and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms.

8. Disclaimer

Design Era is provided “as is” and “as available”. We don’t promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted.

9. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of the app.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Pune, Maharashtra will have jurisdiction over any dispute.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. If you keep using the app after changes, you accept the new terms.

Delete Your Account

If you want to delete your Design Era account, you can do so in either of the ways below. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

What gets deleted

• Your account (email / sign-in details)
• Your saved designs, uploads, and any content linked to the account
• Profile and preferences stored with us

We will delete or anonymise this data within a reasonable period (usually within 30 days), except where we must keep limited records for legal, security, or accounting reasons.

Option 1 – Delete from the app (recommended)

1. Open the Design Era app and sign in.
2. Go to Settings → Account (or Profile).
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account and data will then be scheduled for deletion.

Option 2 – Request deletion by email

If you cannot use the in-app option, email us from the address linked to your account:

Subject: Delete my Design Era account

Please include:

• The email address of the account you want deleted
• Confirmation that you want permanent deletion

We will verify ownership and process the request. You will receive a confirmation when the deletion is complete.

After deletion

• You will no longer be able to sign in.
• Designs and uploads linked to the account will be removed.
• If you used Google or Apple sign-in, only the Design Era account is deleted; your Google/Apple account is unaffected.
